No boxes were physically harmed in the making of this comparison.

You’ll find that all pictures on this site are pictures of actual boxes in our collection. We believe we have every version of the Traders & Builders expansion in the First Edition in the Chinese language. If you are not sure which box you have, have a look below or contact us and we’ll be able to tell you!

First printing

2014

Swan Panasia released their Chinese version of the Traders & Builders expansion a bit later than others, once the game was well established in their regions.

The box follows the designs of boxes from 2014, although some things are moved around to make space for text. As the name of the game is printed in both its original form and in Chinese, the expansion symbol was moved down a bit.

We got this expansion directly from the publisher when we ordered some other items. They had a bundle available with the base game and several expansions, and of course, we could not pass on that.
