Celebrating more than 20 years of our favourite game!
THE WORLD’S LARGEST CARCASSONNE COLLECTION

ABOUT US
At The Carcassonne Museum, we aim to bring as many different releases of the game together in one place. This includes base games, boxed expansions, mini-expansions, and spin-off games in the Carcassonne family, from as many publishers and in as many languages as possible. In the long history of the game it has been released in over 35 languages around the world, with many expansions and spin-off games. We try to bring as much of that together and share news and tidbits about the game with a wide audience.
On this site, we try to show you the entire collection we have. You can also find out which edition you have, by looking through the collection and finding your matching box. All pictures on this website are pictures of actual boxes we have, which also shows the condition of each of the boxes we have. If you feel a box is missing, do contact us as we’re always trying to add new items to our collection!
Carcassonne is a board game that was first released in the year 2000.
Designed by Klaus-Jürgen Wrede, with art from Doris Mättheus, the game was first published by Hans im Glück in Germany, and was soon picked up for international releases, spreading to many more countries over the years.
